Hi,

I have a wonderful Tiffany vase that I got from my friend Gloria. When I met Gloria and she was showing me her house she mentioned that the former owner left the vase for her. Gloria was very superstitious and was worried about the former owner as to why she left the vase in the house. Anyway Gloria had the vase in her dining room room and always complained about it. She was afraid to even discard or give the vase away. Unfortunately Gloria died a few years later. The family invited me over when they were going through the house disposing of things. I was sitting in the kitchen and noticed a large trash barrel filled with some of her things. There sitting in the barrel was the vase and some some other really nice pieces. I asked who was getting the barrel and was informed that it was going to be set out for the trash. I asked that no one wanted any of the stuff in the barrel. They all said no since their mother always said the stuff was haunted. I asked if I could go through the barrel. They said yes and I could have anything that I wanted out of it. I snatched the vase, several old pieces of Nippon and a gorgeous piece of Gorham sterling silver 18" tray. The tray was black and really looked like Hell. I thanked them very much and they thanked me for taking care of Gloria over the last year since they lived in Pennsylvania. They kept telling me how she really enjoyed my company and what I had done for her.

greg
