What's going on? #3

OK, I'm closing my Jenner part with - No, I do not personally know Ms. Jenner. But followed Bruce when he was in Komo's territory and came home with an Olympic Gold in 1976. Everyone in town watched closely. Yes, I had been transferred to Newtown, CT, two of my kids were in the same High School where Bruce was a top athlete.
He and one other Olympic medalist came to the ceremony when the new football field was named "Bruce Jenner Stadium." Certainly a great guy.
He did, of course, become a huge celebrity, moved to California, start his family, etc., etc.
Some years later when the town was expanding the athletic fields, raising about a half million, they turned to Bruce for a little help. He totally ignored them. No response to mail or phone. When, finally, his wife picked up the phone she said Bruce was involved in many other things and didn't have time to talk to them. They removed his name from the renovated stadium.
I have no prejudice whatsoever for LBGTs. In my opinion those guys and gals were born one gender but inside were the opposite. They did not choose that, they were given it. No way to change it. They deserve the respect and all rights given everyone else.
Bruce decided after (how many) marriages, several biological children, years of media attention, and reaching RETIREMENT age, that he always knew he was really a woman and was going to go through the change.

What I don't quite understand is his very first "falling in love with person," is a guy who just completed HIS conversion to a HER.
HUH!!! Does that mean Caitlyn is gay???

 

As an Olympic athlete , Bruce was a hero.

His private life...is now just "tawdry spectacle" .....& is of no concern or interest of mine !!

I'd rather watch grass grow !
