What's going on? #10(?)

My ex was half Italian, half Irish. I got along fine with the Italian side. It was his Irish mother who was the *itch. She was a *itch to everyone, not just me. She never acknowledged our son because to do so would have been to acknowledge me. The divorce was a relief - no more reason to see her. At his cousin's funeral a few years ago, with whom I remained friends, I walked in and she said (loudly) "What is SHE doing here?" On my way out, I said, (just as loudly) "Fran, I have to say, when I met your son I was a naïve teenager. Everything I know about class I learned from you." and I flounced out. Gasps all around. I felt ever so much better. I'd been waiting to say that since 1972.

 

Do Brits play "show and tell"? We weren't asking you to TELL, Davey... just to SHOW!
