What should I do with this dresser?

    Hi Joe,
    No you did nothing wrong. If it has a couple of coats, stripping and sanding will have to do. When latex paint first came out in the 40s/50s you could strip it off with ammonia. I had a wonderful Federal bullseye mirror that someone painted with yellow latex paint in the mid 50s and then with a coat of silver radiator paint in the 70s. I removed the two layers using ammonia and Q-tips, when I reached the latex layer with the ammonia it popped off the silver paint.

    Hi,
    I will not use it since I can not afford a lawyer to fight them if Vero decides to pull it. These guys have money to fight I do not.

    Agree with K above-no point in removing the paint if u are just going to repaint it, just follow surface prep instructions on the paint can and paint. Stay within temp/humidity limits listed on can.
