What is this? A chemistry tool, maybe?

    Yeah, "volunteers" can show up anytime and anywhere, but usually at the end of putting your engine, lamp or ikea dresser together.

    Usually means "I have no idea what this is or where it came from, but OK!"

    My personal favorite was roti-sserie! as in: "you got yer roti-sserie here..."

    He just liked to take words and apply them to certain situations. "High-concept" was another funny/nice way to say he didn't understand what that guy was talking about... "Wow! Pretty high concept!"

    This is definitely a roti-sserie.

    You mean Yes? it can be mounted vertically? :) Is there no manufacturer's mark or patent number?

    In some extreme conditions (like elevation or sea level) fluids don't hold their specific gravity or viscosity due to temperature/pressurized environment - this may be used in similar setting to manually press a lubricant or other material to another receptacle... or several, as looks in this case?

    You know what a WAG is, right? :)
