I only ever buy if I can see enough to cover my bid. I'm surprised I was the only bidder as it was v cheap. They must have been sleeping.

I thought it might be the coral looking necklace in the very first picture in the top left hand side .. it has the elongated beads that I see sometimes .. OH WELL !! ... Joy. :)

You spotted something I didn't even with it in my hand. Those white beads I thought were glass test as gemstones. Mary Contrary wasn't generous enough to narrow down my options very much though.....:bookworm:. Do you think they are Moonstone?. Not any inclusions or flashes of blue that I can see, just that cloudy white colour.

    I'd be betting on quartz.

I enjoy searching for little gems like this and researching them. I restring and reknot old necklaces and try to make them wearable again. I take apart old costume jewellery for the clasps, beads and bead caps etc. The necklaces I love I keep or use as gifts, those I don't like so much I sell on. I'm rubbish at selling anything I like!.
I try to restore as they were but some beads are too far gone or need a revamp. Several I have done more than once as I didn’t get the results I wanted.
    As you asked.......before and afters!

Not finished yet as I’ve got to move some beads around to balance it.

I think it's a disease. I rebuilt one last night myself. A few of the rebuilds go up for sale, some get given away, and some I hoard.(LOL)
