[QUOTE="Ladybranch, post: 40416, member: 44"]Hold the phone, I found the maker, Gerold Porzellan of Tettau, Bavaria, West Germany. I did an image search of the mark pictured on the Kovels site and found the mark on the Gerold Porzellan site. The following page has examples of this mark with timeframes. I haven't taken the time of figuring out the timeframe of your mark.

http://www.gerold-porzellan.com/marks.htm

Ahhhh, believe the NP stands for Neue Porzellanfabrik that translates to New porcelain factory.

Here is more info and marks on Gerold. I don't see a mark exactly like yours. As it doesn't have Germany or West Germany on it, I wonder if it dates before 1890s. Do wait for others to chime in on the dating.

http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/bavaria/tettau-02/index.php

BTW, have now found this mark in the Kovels' book I have.
