What do you call the cardboard pieces used for jewelry sales?

we can take a joke as good as any of you....... but the joke is over & we are not impressed with our friends to the south .....

@Bev aka thelmasstuff - I used to make my own small cards when I had a local booth. I used these small white thin cardboard pieces that actually were part of the pack used to test the autoclaves. There was a test paper between multiple layers of the cardboard & each autoclave was tested daily to make sure it was reaching the appropriate temperature.

I still have a pretty good pile of cards but haven't used them in years since I gave up my booth back in 2009. If you would like to use the cards to make your own jewelry cards I would be glad to ship them to you.

Wow. I would love to have handmade cards! My mother lived through the Depression so I grew up with the mantra of Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose before it became a 'thing.' My kids still remember her washing the styrofoam meat trays, covering them with foil and using them as plates in the summer when they ate outdoors

Yeah!! One more thing out of my garage!!

I have given myself 6 months to get the garage & my office more organized. I am totally over the constant state of upheaval & am tired of working harder than I need to get stuff packed because a lot of my stuff ends up getting buried behind stuff.

 

I try not to buy anything new for my crafts or vintage items so reuse/repurpose as much as I possibly can. I buy up pretty vintage playing cards whenever I find them in charity shops & use them to display my earrings & brooches. I also make my own price tags from old greetings cards & decorative packaging using a hand held gift tag punch (bought in a charity shop!).
