    I used to do that, but we don't have any room in the freezer anymore.;)

    Yes I thought about this. But I was afraid I would damage it with the chemicals in case it could be valuable.

    The freezer works well (if there is room!)

    But to be even more thorough, in case there are unseen insect eggs involved, take the frozen item out, let it thaw for a few days, and then refreeze. The warmth after the first freeze will cause some types of insect eggs to hatch, and the second freezing will get them.

    Very interesting read !! .. They are beautiful in their own way but honestly I wouldn't want one displayed on my walls .. scary ... Joy.
