    Wild guess - If these are Japanese, could they have been used as floor pillows in Geisha house?

    Floor pillows is still my guess and in a Geisha house is an excellent place!

    Question.....didn't the Chinese sometimes use the swastika forwards and backwards as a symbol of either happiness or good luck????? Somewhere in the "windmills" that's ringing a bell..................

    Found this (plus more on Google) :

    DIL said all three are definitely sllk.

    She described them as silk brocade occasional table, tablecloths dated between 1925-1935.
