    Follow up: I sold this prosthetic for 5x what I paid for it, in less than a week, at the antique mall.

    So now we know: people will buy these!

    Ha. She said she still thinks I'm crazy. 'Because it's gross.'

    Maybe. But it's paying the rent at the antique mall! Let's go!

    Last night there was a repeat of an Antiques Roadshow (US) episode called "Body of Work" all about items that look like body parts that were appraised in past shows. Not sure whether it had prosthetic items but I know that they have had really old ones on the show in the past (U. S. Civil War era).
