HaHa Walter good to see you on the boards! I hope you're doing well (though apparently you're eating rocks and nails for breakfast:)LOL). I've found Cassy to be very polite so please Cassy don't be dissuaded and come back anytime! Now....the English language:D. I wouldn't want the light to shine too brightly on my own use of it. I was called out for my use of "alot "vs. "a lot" once here. Actually I was taught the way I use/used it in American school once upon a time and from other's responses I wasn't the only one. That and the fact that if I'm typing on my phone, between the auto-correct and the small screen apparently I can't read diddly so later can't believe what I typed:eek:. I play little grammar game apps and am appalled at my ability sometimes. Then I sometimes wonder where the people are who made the apps. I have a dear, highly educated friend in Scotland that when proofreading a doctoral paper for an American friend was trying to fix things that were proper usage here. Now that particular paper was headed to England so I suspect the changes stayed but it just was interesting to note the ways that the same language has different accepted usages. Anyway......I think I'm more about communication that I am about grammar (as many will probably have noted:p). If I understand what someone is saying I'm not so concerned about how they say it. I've had a rough year and some things just seem less important than others I guess.:) Anyway Walter.....hope your feeling well these days:).
