Anyone who wants to buy this is going to want to see it out of the frame, without the glass. At some point you're going to have to figure out how to get that tape off. If you think it's really an original oil painting, you should take it to a reputable frame shop and ask them to help you. They would have the ability to remove the tape without damaging the painting.

Marjorie was born in the Cape Province of South Africa. William was born in England. They had 2 children. The second eldest is my mother Frances Patricia Folley. Born in Germiston, South Africa. My mom married William John Huntingford. (Yes same name as her father.). They had 5 children. I am the second eldest. Carolynn Helen Huntingford. I now live in Canada. I have just inherited one of his paintings. Oh WRE Goodrich was my grandmothers great, great Uncle.

You do know that I have many paintings I could estimate at high prices, but the reality is they are only worth at sale as much as someone will pay. I'd still like to see a nice, clear photo of this without the glass.
The back of that painting scares me.....what with rope and all that wide sticky tape....I would have had to seen that removed before purchase.....but that's just ME!!!!! And yes, of course without the glass!!!
