The original old cards, especially certain rare characters, can be worth quite a lot I understand. You'd have to do some research (there have been reprints), condition would have to be good, might have to grade/authenticate if it was a big one, etc.</p><p><br /></p><p>You are very sweet, and I have the same opinion on not throwing away other people's things.
