Vintage OBI Belt buckle finding?

    Surely if that is a buckle, something is missing? How does it close?
    If the buckle is that circular thing hooked into the ring thing without anything else, I would lose it within five minutes.:confused:
    One of those terrible disappointments life throws at us.:arghh:
