    That's lovely.
Appears to be Czech peking glass and micro mosaic.
    Is it marked sterling?

Oh and should add micro mosaic is usually Italian.

No, it's brass, I believe it's early 1900 (from family history). Here's a bracelet from Worthpoint.

And another tile from ebay in sterling...
They're calling it "Chinese Asian Flare green Peking Glass"

I don't believe it's worth a lot, but I do love wearing that green :)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The green jewelry is beautiful. I'm not sure why this one is being displayed on top of a cased image that is probably from the 1860s. But I would buy them in a heartbeat if being sold together!

I misidentified green as Peking Glass, and @Any Jewelry clarified with the example below

What do you mean by "cased" and which one is from 1860, @Figtree3?

The photograph of the last piece of jewelry posted, the one on eBay, shows the piece is sitting on an antique photograph, probably an ambrotype or a tintype. There's a chance it's a daguerreotype but those were going out of favor by the early 1860s. The photo is framed in a brass mat, which means it is or was in a case. Images that were taken in the early days were protected in hard cases, usually the type that could open like a book. That is why I used the word "cased." I meant it was in a case.

One thing I noticed was the disparity in dates between when the jewelry was probably made and when the cased photo was taken. Not sure why the seller chose to put them together. And also was pointing out that I love these types of antique photos!

Oh, and I meant that the cased photo of a woman was probably from the 1860s or a little before. There are ways to be more accurate in dating them but the date of the photo is not relevant to the conversation about the jewelry! :)

ok--not asking for value here..;) but if I list this on Ebay...what would best start be? What category? AND..if I am correct in summing up all your info...should list as Czech molded glass brooch, malachite green color ,brass? back, probably post WW2.

    Thanks !!!!

    That's it.:)
You could call it malachite glass, it is a recognized term in the world of Czech glass.:pompous:

A little thing I noticed: the mount is pierced. Does that match up with the piercing patterns in the "gem"?

I don't think it changes the value much, but does indicate a higher manufacturing value.

Here's a tiny junkie one I've had for years...

HI--IF you are referring to my brooch..I am OP---
most piercing matches up..some doesn't but oddly..the pierced flower on the back is directly behind the solid flower on the front.

    Hi @janettekay

I think these molded pieces are usually set with open backs.
