Unlike women's which changes 4 times a year.</p><p>If just based on the width of ties from 1900 to 2015 there aren't many choices. It's either 2 inches wide, 4, or 6 inches. So it can be 3 - radical change - for 19 months and then revert to 2 or 4. So, guys, save the old ones. They'll be back in vogue before you know it.</p><p><br /></p><p>As far as the guy in the photo, he could have sat for that shot anytime between 1940 and 2015. For skinny ties without the ascot knot, 1950s on are the best bet. But the hat begs 30s 40s.</p><p><br /></p><p>I give up on the date based on fashion.
