    You're making me thirsty for one too. A favorite childhood summertime treat was to go to the local A&W for a foot long hotdog & a brown cow.

    It was in the 1960s when I decided to brew root beer. At the time we lived in a place where nothing was found or happened.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I last saw a bottle of Dad's in 1980-something. It's not sold up here. However, a local outfit, or relatively local, is now brewing with real sugar. No HFCS poison. And it's in 12-ounce glass bottles.
