Proper Siamese that. My views on overbreeding cats are strong, shall we say.

 

So was my Siamese, Bindy. She would put her front paws on my shoulders and rub her head against my face until I had to put her on the floor because I had things to do. My morning facial massage.

Probably because Kiko has posted photos of her gorgeous house before, which many of us have seen. I agree, it is beautiful.

 

I agree. It's very sad. I had a Classic Siamese that was hyper and nervous all her life. I had to start leaving her home with a sitter when I went camping because one time she ran away into the hills where there were rattlesnakes. She was out all night. The ranger found her.

She also bailed one time when we were hiking along a lake and a cow came down to take a drink. She was gone for hours. I had to wait until dark when she decided to try and find me. My cats are chipped, so it's not like they can't be identified by animal control or a vet.

The rule is that they have to keep me in sight when we are camping. They are not permitted to adventure somewhere else. I train them at 12 weeks to go camping and hiking, so they are more dependent and will learn from the older cats. When my Classic died, I started searching for Appleheads - Traditional Siamese. I get naughtiness now, but not nervous, hyper cats.

 

Bindy sounds like a love. Nothing like a good Siamese head rub.
