Unusual pair of pictures

I could have lived forever without that image in my head.

I sent an email to Sutter Place Interiors and did get a response.

They emailed me back almost immediately, and said, "Yes, send photos."

Unfortunately the original owner did not recall them specifically, but something about the tag and subject matter made her think that she must have purchased them at an antiques/collectibles mall in the 1970's when their place was smaller and did bed/bath accessories. I guess they were accessorizing their store back then with found items, much like folks do today. But no specific memory about these.

So that's where the story ends.
