Older than I thought. Hmm.
I really don’t know about the discs even with them in my hand.
They look to have been embedded when the glass was still hot as where a few have been lost you can see the imprint of the pattern within the bead. There are one or two that have lost part of the disc, maybe I dig the rest out of one to try to ID it. The odd thing is that the intact beads are completely smooth over the discs, if you had your eyes shut you wouldn’t know they were there.
Maybe I just leave well alone and preserve them as they are. They aren’t sellers as way too intriguing!

Not that they know much more than us but maybe the crucifix on that one is a help?
I love the fact that I can get them blessed before she posts them to me if I bought them. That’s customer service!
