It was clearly dated 1888. In 1970 I had brought it to the head historian for <font size="4"><a href="http://www.antiquesandthearts.com/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.antiquesandthearts.com/" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: #0080ff">Antiques & The Arts Weekly</span></a> in Newtown, CT for help.
