Well, we started out the morning with a request to lie about the value & to ship it directly to her in China.

I told her I would not lie on a government document & say they only paid $30.00.

They then went back to using the shipping service but asked me to ship it in a "wood or iron box".

I am hoping the iron part is a language translation thing.

I told them I did not have either one but promised to box it up to withstand the very long journey ahead.

I want to publicly thank everyone who has furthered my education because, without this forum & the old eBay boards, I likely would have never been able to spot these pieces as potential Chinese export silver.

 

YAY! Not surprised it went back home. The Chinese like things made in the Chinese taste that were made either for home use ,or exported and never sold in China.
