[QUOTE="journeymagazine, post: 9821487, member: 84"]I found this Friday at my regular thrift store & a image search showed it's by a Chinese artist Ting Shao Kuang. One I found was described as gauche on paper that looks like mine - except mine is a 1/2 inch larger all around & that one has space under her feet where mine ends. I didn't think there could be 2 of the same & thought mine was a print, but it looked so good under a magnifying glass that I took this one out of its frame. After taking the brown paper off the back there was a unusual cross support? made of cardboard or thick paper that didn't offer much support - any reason for it? After taking it out of the frame I found the art is mounted on board with a silk? trim that has designs in it? (last 2 photos, 1st one you can see at 3:00 & 5:00 position on a clock) Is mine a painting? A gauche? I can feel different textures & with a magnifying glass see some small bumps in the colors? What do I have? Thank you!
