Not a table base and was two pieces and I glued it a decade ago. The top appears to be an ashtray?

Best size photo to upload? Sorry they changed orientation by itself but it’s super heavy, maybe 20” tall foo dogs elephants women and what appears to be an Asian scene in the top bit. TIA

wanted to add the chipped part showing white-ish underneath and well when it in two pieces the inside was the same white and almost pearlescent- no idea of the composition

Jess, it is very difficult to see what you have, but it looks like another Italian resin concoction.
What I can see is an ashtray/fish bowl top part, and the base seems to be a Japanese style Buddha (or three?), seated on three Javanese-Balinese style Barong lions.

I was in a rush and have to take a look at the “how to” link on uploading pictures. It’s been a while since using a forum like this.

This is so out of my wheelhouse. When it was in two pieces (repaired now) the composition was very odd, a hot pin test did not sink in and as mentioned above had this sort of pearlescent quality.

my pure curiosity and the researcher in me is determined to at least find its makeup.

definitely seems to have that Javanese-Balinese feel. When I have some time for better pictures I’ll be back on this.

Thanks so much - a lot to look at and yes.. three of each of the figures. The top bowl is only about 3” diameter and the same or less deep ..

Resin is often mixed with harder materials for strength. You may have heard of composites like polystone etc. This could be a similar composite.
