    The whole thing was glued down to a cardboard heart. The oval pendant was the first thing that made me look twice at this pin. I spent a long time picking the glue off! It is marked 12k GF, and the stone tests positive for diamond, but it is badly chipped.

    It was a long time ago when Sea World San Diego opened.They had a large room with tanks of oysters,canned oysters with pearls,a lot of pearl jewelry and Japanese women wearing kimonos. It could have been a different company though.

    Mikimoto is a revered name in Japanese cultured pearls.
    Kokichi Mikimoto would roll over in his grave if he knew you are comparing his pearls to those in a can.
