I couldn&#039;t really see anything , just piled up stuff....until I noticed some woven fibers coming from the very back.</p><p>By now I&#039;m almost laying on the floor , pushing stuff out of my way to get to very back of the very bottom &amp; grabbing at the mass of fibers .I pull on them and out comes a small dusty cobweb laden african portrait mask . Once in my hand...I can&#039;t let go of it. It&#039;s a little beat up &amp; hard to really see , and I figure I don&#039;t really need it , &amp; I want to put it back , but I can&#039;t.</p><p>I&#039;m on all 4&#039;s on a dirty cold floor , and thinking to myself, &quot;what am I doing here?&quot;, but I pull it out ,dust it off and stand up .</p><p>It&#039;s not terribly pretty, and the woven fibers making a basket weave like headdress are dry and shedding in my hands .....and still I can&#039;t put it down, so I ask the owner about. He knows nothing....like he&#039;d forgotten it was even there , or never knew it was there &amp; he put&#039;s a $40 price on it.&nbsp;&nbsp; I paid him , &amp; left.</p><p><br /></p><p>On the way home I&#039;m feeling pretty good that I&#039;d found it and bought it , and that it did not deserve to be where it was, and that I&#039;d somehow freed it from being cast off and hidden away......but I can&#039;t shake the feeling that it wanted me to find it....&amp; led me to where it was being held.</p><p><br /></p><p>Part two ....soon ![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
