The statue was one of the refugees, for two reasons:</p><p>- Work by Barlach was seen as &#039;Degenerate Art&#039;, so forbidden.</p><p>- The student is seen as being a critical reader, reading the text and forming his own opinion, which is not acceptable in a totalitarian state.</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="https://mapio.net/images-p/61067169.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" />[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
