well you must know already that i'm a blade fan...( no....not a fan blade !! :p.) ..and this type of item has fascinated me for a long time...
It all started with a fire starter....that some shmuck was trying to pass off as a civil war relic ...so I had to do my own digging.....

and found them associated with Asian traveling sets..

    So...you;re welcome....

    From hell...

    Gorgeous sets!!

Here's my little leather pouch, all finished...

I sewed a seam down the middle of the pouch, to stop the sticks clattering together, and to give it a firmer, more snug fit (to stop them falling out accidentally). I also made a little leather and velcro strappy-thing to hold the rest in place, more securely.

Out and in action, it looks like this:

The floppy leather pouch can be folded up nice and neat, and the removable rest-strap holds everything together! :)

    I'm flattered!

I enhanced the pouch again, by putting in a more substantial over-flap, to stop it slipping out and stuff...

The velcro strap will do for now, although I may replace it with something nicer one day.

I'll be honest, I seriously questioned when I started this thread, whether or not anybody would have any interest in something as mundane as chopsticks!! :D

Not including the chain, each one is 20.5cm long, exactly.

What is the diameter of each end? Looks like about $30 of sterling and a little work.

I don't use them often....but enjoy my dexterity at an oriental restaurant.
i've got wood ones, bamboo ones, lacquer ones, plastic ones...but no silver ones..
I think the sterling rest is very interesting...

Well they're chopsticks. How much work could they possibly be?

Tapered square would be fairly fast, tapered round would be at least 4 times longer.
