you don't need to convince me. it would have been nice though to see another proven - not from obsucre internet sites - German silver item that had the same mark for the Feingehalt of 925, which is strictly regulated.
your "German" items wouldn't pass German customs if seen by an officer and dealt with as what they seem to be: some cheap fakes, and the importer - even if it's a ebay buyer, would pay a fee, import taxes and as a topping : all costs of destruction.
