Seem to recall dog tags turned up around late Victorian times. Is that correct? I figure the image is probably from a renown painting as there appears to be a signature in the bottom left area of the image that I can&#039;t decipher. Not sure how the image was applied either. It seems to be a silver layer that has been scratched back to base material. Most likely a commercial process of some kind.
