In answer to the very first question, I have never seen a factory painting with a date.

Same painting sold for $425?
It's been a while but I think I sold it on Ebay for just a $100. If not wrong it went to Thailand.

 

A WARNING. i JUST (almost) RECEIVED A MALWARE BY CLICKING ON ABOVE PICTURES. THE SMALL ONES ON TOP.
CAN'T EXPLAIN IT ALL BUT HAD MY COMPUTER GURU TAKE CONTROL OF MY COMPUTER AND HE CONFIRMED IT.

Briefly it asked me to call a certain tel. number for more info. on a supposed break in to my computer.

I've been ultra busy this past 5-6 weeks and then a nice vacation at a friend's hunting lodge in northern Vermont. Part of my "busy" was having my computer totally cleaned and tons of revisions, including ditching Norton and installing a new anti-virus.
Yes, I've known the small computer repair company for 5 years and trust them.

In any and all event, I'm back and hope to be visiting hear more frequently.

My error re: the virus scare yesterday. IT WAS NOT by clicking on poster's pictures, it was a separate message above the thread. Telling me I had a new message. After clicking on it, I was brought to another message telling me to call a toll free number for help.
It popped up again this morning on another thread. I ignored it but realized I was not signed in to this site yet. When I did so that message disappeared.

Seems that it might be on Antiquers.com with various alerts, some soliciting business, but only showing to un-logged in members.

Sorry for the mistake.

 

Those things used to pop up occasionally and I just ignored them. We have Kaspersky now and it hasn't happened.

 

I removed Norton this week and replaced it with Kapersky on my computer guru's advice. Never saw that malware before, but I've not posted in quite a while and therefore had to log in twice now. Once logged in the bogus message went away by itself.
