[QUOTE="TheOLdGuy, post: 124455, member: 878"]Thanks, all of you for the notes, advice and stories that make me feel blessed. Especially now, I do thank the guy/gal upstairs often and shall when we meet face to face.

Right, my ideas of the beyond are a mish-mash of about 2,932 of the over 9,000 different religions. And, yeah, there is no hell. So I know we'll all meet someday.

Have learned a lot more about kidney stones since last time. This occurrence is one of the more typical. Pain? YES. but a piece of cake compared to the previous ones. Except for a few earliest ones, I stayed days in the hospital wrapped in tubes until they fixed everything and sent me home.

This time as doc. explained, I'll be taking pills for nausea, pain, antibiotics, and FLOMAX. The latter somehow prepares everything for natural expelling of the 6mm one that normally can't get out by itself. If that doesn't work by Monday, more scans & x-rays will be taken. The results of those will determine whether they blast it to pieces or, the dreadful foot long stent gets put up there (guess how ) and taken back out in a week.

Add your prayers please. . Your choice.

, but I'll take revenge if you choose the latter and win.

Anyway, I'm the guy who, as you well know, is in his 8th decade with only one operation in his past - after a 3 month argument we compromised with just half of my thyroid - and since then I require a written 100 year guarantee on any other treatments . I don't wear glasses, I don't have a hearing aid, no implants, no transplants. I own all my teeth, 90% of my hair is still on.
