    Wonderful news, thanks for letting us know.:happy:

    So, an appraisal value of 900 GBP, that is ca 1070 euro. Minus what you paid for the statue and for the appraisal, that still leaves you with a profit of over 900 euro. Possibly more in the right auction.
    Would you say that was worth it?:playful:

    More importantly, will you be keeping your little house guest, or selling?

    I've also asked if he can refer me to an appraiser who specialises in African Tribal works and who I can contact for a metal analysis, with regards to the Effigy Bells. Fingers crossed on that little journey. Lol

    If it wasn't for all the help here and especially from 'Any Jewelry', I'd be none the wiser about the little fella. I just thought he looked old and interesting, but didn't know where to gather more info about him, other than Google :)
