Featured SINCE MANY ARE POSTING BOOKS, THOUGHT I'D JOIN THE PARADE!!!!

THAT would be GREAT!! Couple of years ago, DH had a friend who took his son to get his drivers permit....they told him to “sign” his name.....so he printed it....what he knew....they handed it back and said ‘no, SIGN it’ .....threw the kid into near tears.....he truly didn’t know cursive....I think his Dad ‘helped’ him sign by ‘hand over hand’.....kid got his license at any rate!! OH the havoc schools can wreak!!!

 

Oh drats.... and here I thought I might be able to get a part time job in a museum as a translator.

I have a nephew who's a High School english teacher. He is always failing papers handed in with texting acronyms and emojis. The students often refer to him as a Prehistoric cave writer. Funny but sad. When you think of it, their texts resemble cave writings

Thanks so much.....so far, I am un-able to part with it!!!! I just love looking at it on occasion.....SOMEDAY, though...............maybe!!!! I marvel at the line detail in the birds and nests, the flourishing, and the patience to do the scrolling, like in the deer especially!! With the condition of the cover and the
'worm holes' on some of the paper edges, I can't imagine it could be worth much, which doesn't really bother me!
