I read that silver is used in technology manufacture so that there will be a need for it (in a less visible way) however I know zip about that too.

gees AF, my cat might enjoy eating from a sterling dish too....I'll ask him.

    Hi,
Before the Govt stopped making cents out of copper. I had copper leaders and down spouts put on my home. It was only like 300 more than aluminum. Now I would have to mortgage the house to put copper up. I thought about it when I redid the roof here. Aluminum was 275 dollars, Copper would be almost 3K.

According to a couple of studies lately, you would make more money investing in Lego sets, than in stocks or gold. :woot:

I've made these, and other copper items, by hand. Love them. :)

I remember years ago when the copper downspouts were all stolen off the back of my parent's church (only the ones that were not visible from the street). I don't know if stealing from a church makes it less offensive or more. I mean if someone really needed the money......

    Lego's huh......they aren't nearly as pretty.

    They're also much more portable.

Well true and their shape is not so static. Heck you could make yourself a bowl, maybe a chair and then change it to a table and the then who knows, the sky's the limit!

Try doing that with diamonds. (LOL) I'm wishing I'd invested in the Star Wars toys nobody wanted. Now the ones from the original movie can be worth as much as my car.

Seen on Pawn Stars. A prototype Boba Fett figurine on the original card that the guy wanted $150,000 for. Rick offered 100 grand and got turned down. Seems it's legit.
A one of a kind prototype only shown once by Mattel at a major industry toy show. It fired a little rocket which Mattel realized would be a choking hazard so they changed it for production. Some Star Wars nut will inevitably fork out over 100 grand for it.

Results with a real seller and a real buyer would probably differ.

Ended by seller no longer available? so if they were lucky enough to find a buyer I guess they went off Ebay.

If you read between the lines, 'Contact me to do a deal seem quite clearly implied.'
