I did wonder if they started life as buttons and have had the shank cut off?</p><p>The gems are all set with the metal having been pulled over the edges of them to keep them secure ( is there a name for that?) and the gems are all rough cut, more chunks than faceted. </p><p>The pink have a faint manganese glow under UV. </p><p>Any ideas?
