Featured Signed cameos, please help identify the name!

@Bronwen, GLAD you got a better assessment of your injuries than the ER gave you, and sounds like you're continuing to make progress!! Hoping you don't need surgery, but sounds like it could be a 'wait & see'?? FEEL BETTER!!!

 

Finally found a facial surgeon who takes my insurance & can see me next week. None of the several others who take Medicare have any openings until January or later. It is still to be decided whether surgery is in order or not. I know I'm not keen on going for the next couple or 3 years fearing what would happen if I bumped my face in just the wrong place again.

Thank you, Aqui, although I'm not sure which way is in my favor. Having plates & screws installed is not that appealing. Then again, neither is walking around with what is basically a skull in pieces.

@Simona Buhus Unfortunately, Maloney doesn't ring any bells for me. Sorry. Cameo carvers of this time period are not well documented.

 

@Aquitaine Thanks for the improved pic! Your enhancement shows a "65" under the signature. This could mean 1965 as the carving date. Or it could be a jeweler's mark.

 

I saw that and wasn't positive which it was....number or initials so figured you cameo experts might!!!

 

I see something like Vitury? I don't know if that helps at all?
Under the siggy I see a Groucho Marx caricature.

I had a second look at this Cleopatra cameo, the number at the back is more like 45, could be 65 as well.
The name….am uncertain, I can see a initial V and a name which I can’t make out.

Thank you Simona. It is yet to be determined what surgery(ies), if any, are in order. I have a first consultation with a surgeon tomorrow (Thurs). Am also dealing with a bit of a shoulder injury, probably more painful than serious. MRI on Monday.
