I told the council if they planted small bushes around the lake the geese would move. They just sat there amused and thought I was a crazy old man. They hired guard dogs and people with sheets to try and frighten them away. Well it worked as long as the dogs and people were there. It ended up costing thousands of dollars every two weeks. They were going to raise taxes to the home owners but they cried out and threw out the council. Finally someone got elected and small bushes were planted around the lake. The birds moved out.
