That's a really good copy. If I would of found that, I would of been searching for the artist. Good job!

The carving is also nice. It's a good job with what you had to work with.

I don't have a website any more. I was in a regular gallery and then a coop gallery for two years, but the partnership is dissolving so I'll probably be looking for a regular gallery to sell my work. You have to pay a bigger percentage, but no rent and no taking turns every week to run the gallery. No headaches.

Very nice, Bev - thanks for posting those!

I know some have seen these in the past...been a long time since I picked up a brush. These are when I first sold on eBay and the buyer would mail a pic of their pet and I would paint on a goose egg and make into an ornament or for a stand, which ever they choose.
The dressage horse was not totally finished.

I cannot do people or horses. Cats and dogs, yes. My daughter told me once never to put people in my paintings because they look like cartoon figures. ;)

Well, Armando, unless you've been to Saltworks Gallery in Orleans...unless I've had a senior moment and posted them here before. I use my paintings off and on for avatars.

I am awful when it comes to finishing paintings. I tried to do this water color then gave up. Also, the bird of Paradise I did with my left hand.....I am right handed. :p DSCN1917.JPG phpwuf2pwAM.jpg

    PS

The teeth marks on the left of the flower was from one of my kitties that wanted attention. :cat:

I can't do watercolor, so I'm impressed. Everyone thinks if you're an artist, you can use any medium, but it's not so. The teethmarks add panache!

I prefer oil or acrylic as you can paint over mistakes:p;)

This is FAR from talent but I carved this half an avacado seed 51 years ago.:p It had an eye screw at one time to hang on a cord. After I carved it,I put it in a box and forgot about it. Then when I did find it I saw all the worm holes and how shriveled it was. :hilarious:

Are they online in the Saltworks Gallery? I can almost guarantee you that's were I probably seen then while looking for an artist around those parts. Those are very familiar.
