Featured Short wedding dress from the 1920s? What is missing from the outfit?

    Love it! The fact that you have so many pieces of it! AND photos! What a treasure!

    We had a similar dress at a local estate sale years ago. 1920's but full length with a floor length hand appliqued veil and a very long strand of beads, his cream suit with HUGE pantlegs, the WEDDING cake, all their newspaper society clippings, rings, her shoes... no photo!

    We borrowed a mannequin and dressed her... the veil was a complete huge oval... so we draped it over her face and used the pearls as her wedding crown... The sad thing was there were local descendants...they wanted nothing to do with it... sad.
