My dad didn&#039;t go beyond the 8th grade, but did well in life. I also attended a school like this until it closed when I was in the 5th grade and there were only 8 students left (3 from my own family). We then had to ride a bus to the &quot;big&quot; school in town (it had indoor restrooms--yay!). I&#039;m wondering if there are others on this forum who were educated in one-room country schools.
