Featured Scale models, show them if you got them

    If my eyes don't deceive me, those little 'pocket' knives are little 'switch' blades, aren't they Komo??? Once upon a time I remember them being illegal (full sized anyway...) to carry!!!!!:joyful::joyful::joyful::eek::eek: (But STILL VERY KOOL!!!!!)

    I don't recall ever having anything I might consider a scale model, but I did have this wood carving of a Norwegian Stave Church (possibly Fantoff - destroyed by arson)

    Here's one that really is a scale model. It is 2' long, and represents a native fish wheel from Alaska or the coast of British Columbia. Made of logs, and tied up near the river-bank, the current would turn the wheel, and salmon would get trapped in the buckets, and then dumped into the holding box. With luck, a family could harvest enough fish to last them until the next season.
    I have a native friend who recalls as a little girl, sleeping in the fishing shack, and all night long the sounds would be "thump........flop, flop, flop" as fish fell into the box and flopped around.
