Featured Russian silverware

When I was a child we would go to visit my mom’s family in south Serbia. A hostess will wait at the door offering us homemade bread and next to it it was a dish with the salt. It was welcoming ritual. In the newer days we offer a glass of water and some preserves, usually strawberries or quince. Believe it or not I still keep that tradition here in Arizona. Serbian visitors appreciate touch of home and my Americans embrace it as well.
