I found fully oval 916 marks used between 1927-1958 on items heavier than 10g, and the shovel shape used during this period on items lighter than 10g. My mark is a truncated oval, and is not addressed anywhere I could find. I found one Russian mark guide, out of context and in Russian (which I can&#039;t read), showing this mark. It features the star which came into use only after 1958. So this mark is somewhere in between.
