We were on our own some of the time. My colleague and I both love art museums, and went to the Hermitage <i>three times</i> in the 17 days we were there. One was an official tour, the other two times on our own. The Hermitage owns a large collection of paintings by Rembrandt. We were fortunate to spend a lot of time looking at them.
