Religious figure? or Indian girl? Old water fountain part? Help please

In my opinion it feels quite old, but of course I am no expert.

 

Hi Susan, I just have a question, pretty please! It has 2 parts coming out of the bottom and 1 at the top. Would that be probable for an oil lamp?, Just asking because I have no idea. Thanks again and I love that web page!! You have an awesome collection and so much knowledge.

Just had another thought. Are Scottish highlanders all male? I really think this figure is a female. But of course I could be wrong. Thanks again for everyone's time and thoughts.

 

Is she holding something in her hand?

 

Good observation cxgirl, I was wondering the same thing. I can't tell if that's her hair near the hands or if indeed she may be holding something There is definitely a raised up area there above her hands. I will take a better picture of that area tomorrow.

Here's the new pics of what she's holding. I almost wonder if it had an umbrella or something that came out of her head. Just odd the way it's on the same side of her head as the tube that comes out.

Wow, that looks exactly like her!!!!! Thanks so much quirkygirl for finding that! I wish they had a closer image of her on that site. I wonder if the image of this girl is an older image from somewhere and they copied it? Because it is a new item, and I'm pretty sure this girl is old, but I just don't know and maybe it doesn't matter anyway, since she is only a piece of what she once was.
