    Small world!

Cpk, apparently the first link in my post is to a second instance of the pennant, or it didn't sell and was put in the second auction.

Susan & Pat, How did you find the pennant ??? :)

I found the first image by using these keywords in Google Images... 1930s chicago cubs pennant

I found the second pennant, also in Google Images, when I added wrigley field to the keywords.

It's a lot easier to find something that's visual in Google images since you can quickly scan down the page for something that looks right.

I also googled using key words like: 1930's "Chicago Cubs" pennant. The quotes around certain words help. I only use the generic Google search, not the Google searches found on webpages like one's IP homepage. Those Google Search engines always include ads, commercial, links. I have Google set up as my Search Engine of choice in my browsers. That uses the so called generic version or google.com. Once the list of links comes up, click "Images" in the Google menu bar. Like Pat said, images are a lot easier to spot something.

BTW, that lot of Chicago Memoribilia (paper weight, pennant, bat, tin can) sold for $1,201 according the link I found.

    Yes it is very rare
Value is $750-1000 or more "

Their comment is there - it just got tacked onto/into the "quote".

    Ah! Thanks!
When first here I was doing this too and finally discovered it when I first used an emoticon and the color popped up there. :)
Weird it does for it shouldn't when you click and see the cursor line flashing under the quote. :p

Im a long time Cub fan and would love to have that pennant in my den. Would you be willing to sell it? I'll pay a fair price if your interested. Thank you for your consideration.

    Regards,
    Mike
