Hi all!:) Some of you have outstanding skills for deciphering interlocked monograms... I 'm submitting this complex puzzle to your brains!:joyful: A 6.5 by 4.5 centimeters silvered metal plaque, with a hare running through a forest of interlocked cursive capital letters! Marked on the frame with a reversed F joined to LE DOUBLE.:bucktooth: I found no artist\engraver with that name, only that "le double" may be a hunting term: Doubling its tracks. Said of the hunting beast which, to be cunning, comes back on its way. Hares and roes use this trick to escape the dogs) All I think I can identify are a R and D at the right end:arghh:
