My mom was into collecting Sandwich and American Prescut back in the 1990s going to local auctions and flea markets and antique shops and even the family stuff from 1970s and from relatives like her Aunt and Mom passing away and leaving her with it and from her husband who had things passed down to him before he passed away. Alot of it has been in storage in boxes even the stuff we brought up to WV from Texas. When my dad died, mom finally got to go through it with me. My mom would have given it away, thrown it away, sold it for 0.50 cents. I could not let that happen. I am trying to identify glassware my mom told me to sale it and to keep the profits on anything I sold.

If it did glow, what would that mean? Fake or real. Rob

It does not mean either, just that some of the pieces did fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Some collectors seek out such pieces for that effect. They are usually slightly radioactive due to varying degrees of radioactive material in the glass.
